All cinder blocks are not created equal; and some are about equal to compacted sandstone. I just looked at the pics you posted on your project. Both your workmanship and your garage are well equipped and organized. Do yourself a big favor and build some wooden 2x4/8/10 blocks like you see in the pics above. Then take one of those cinder blocks out in the backyard and smack it a couple times with a sledgehammer. You'll know then why I am writing this now.
